The whole picture

Built around the work you do every day.

Designed for

  • Businesses with field or mobile teams
  • Companies offering customers an app
  • Teams extending an ERP to phones

A mobile app is worth building when people need your business on the move: field teams recording work, customers placing or tracking orders, or staff approving requests away from a desk. SmartCode Systems helps you decide what the first version should do and who it is for.

We design and build agreed Android and iOS apps, choosing native or cross-platform tools to suit the features, devices and budget. Apps can connect to your ERP, website or other systems through supported APIs, with sign-in, permissions and data handling agreed in advance.

Work is reviewed on real devices in staged releases. Delivery includes the agreed build, documentation and help preparing the app for Google Play and the Apple App Store. Store accounts, store review outcomes, hosting, maintenance and later changes are confirmed in the project agreement.

Clear scope

Know the deliverables, responsibilities and acceptance steps before delivery starts.

Practical handover

Put the agreed configuration, documentation and guidance into the hands of your team.

Room to grow

Plan follow-up improvements around your priorities and the systems you already use.

From conversation to delivery

From the first step to the final handoff.

Work through the agreed stages, review points and handover together.

  1. 01

    Define the first release

Agree the users, key tasks, platforms and what a successful first version looks like.

  2. 02

    Design the experience

Prototype the main flows and review them with the people who will use the app.

  3. 03

    Build and test

Develop in stages, demonstrate working builds and test on agreed devices.

  4. 04

    Release and improve

Prepare the store submission, hand over the agreed package and plan later updates.

Before we begin

Start with the right foundations.

Bring these details to the implementation discussion so the setup reflects your actual operation.

  • A description of the users and the tasks the app should support
  • Documentation or API access for the systems the app must connect to
  • Brand assets such as a logo and colours, if you have them
  • A decision maker for scope, testing and acceptance

Optional additions

Room to extend.

These additions are scoped separately. We’ll confirm the fit, configuration and delivery requirements with you.

  • Backend and API development
  • App store listing support
  • Ongoing updates and maintenance

More specific questions?
Talk to our team ↗

Do you build for Android, iOS or both?

Either or both. We confirm the platforms, supported operating system versions and devices during discovery, then recommend a native or cross-platform approach that fits your features and budget.

Can the app connect to our ERP or website?

Usually, through supported APIs. We review the system’s interfaces, permissions and data model first, then scope and test the integration with the system owner.

Do you publish the app to the app stores?

We prepare the store listing and support the submission. The store accounts, fees and review outcomes belong to you and the store operators, and we agree responsibilities before work begins.

Have you built Android apps before?

Our free Mobile Print Agent tool is an Android app, and its page describes what it does and where its limits are. Each client project is scoped and quoted separately.
